When to go
Weekday mornings are quietest. For the deepest discounts, aim for mid-January (Dubai Shopping Festival clearance) or late July–August (Dubai Summer Surprises). Avoid Friday afternoons.
VAT and tax-free
Same Planet tax-free scheme as the city malls. Both outlets have in-house Planet counters for faster paperwork. 5% VAT refundable on items over 250 AED minus the processing fee.
