Michelin-Starred Restaurants in Dubai

The Michelin Guide landed in Dubai in 2022 and now awards stars to a dozen restaurants. Here they are — Dubai's one-starred and two-starred addresses, with cuisine, chef, average spend and booking tips.

Two Michelin stars

Trèsind Studio (modern Indian, chef Himanshu Saini, 14-course tasting menu around 950 AED), STAY by Yannick Alléno (classic French with signature "sauce bar", Palazzo Versace, 850 AED tasting menu). Both require booking 2–4 weeks ahead.

One Michelin star

Row on 45 (modern European, Grosvenor House), 11 Woodfire (modern grill, Jumeirah), Hakkasan (Chinese, Atlantis), Il Ristorante Niko Romito (Italian, Bulgari Resort), Moonrise (Omakase, Fairmont The Palm), Dubai: Dubai (modern tasting, Jumeirah), Hoseki (eight-seat Japanese, Bulgari), Avatara (modern Indian, Voco Hotel). Typical spend 500–900 AED per person without wine.

Bib Gourmand (great value)

For under 250 AED per person, Michelin recommends Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant (Emirati), Reif Japanese Kushiyaki (Dar Wasl Mall), Shabestan (Persian, Radisson Deira), Teible (vegetable-forward, Jameel Arts Centre). All open to walk-ins.

Booking tips

Reserve via OpenTable or restaurant website. Confirm 48 hours before — Dubai no-shows are penalised. For two-starred venues, 2–4 weeks ahead is standard; 6 weeks for Trèsind on weekends. Smart-casual dress at all; some (STAY, Hoseki) require jackets.
